The Revolution Orchestra

MOODS

Creation for an orchestra in motion

“Moods” – The Revolution Orchestrapresenting  an orchestra in motion by Roi Oppenheim and Zohar Sharon.

An original work for an orchestra that has its starting point in Chopin’s classical music and the point of departure in the rock music of “Radiohead”.

For the first time, the orchestra’s players play a whole show of original work without notes and without a baton.

The musical movement receives visual attire through video art and lighting projections and amplification through stage movement of the musicians while playing.

A musical-movement-stage journey that is basically a question about the experience of listening to music – if we could observe our consciousness while listening to music, what would we see?

“I am less interested in how people move, but in what moves them”
