Utsushi (Between two mirrors) is a piece created at the special request of international festivals willing to present Sankai Juku in various features. Utsushi is composed of excerpts of pieces from the repertory of Sankai Juku, newly reworked and restaged in order to constitute a work of its own as the quintessence of the art of the choreographer Ushio Amagatsu from the last 30 years.
