Jasmin Vardimon – A leader in the field of dance theatre in the UK for over twenty-five years, renowned for her unique choreographic style, which combines precise movement, gripping drama and sharp humour. Born and raised in Kibbutz Ein Ha’oresh, she was a dancer in the kibbutz dance company, and was awarded the prestigious British Council Choreography Fellowship – “On the Way to London”. Since moving to the UK, she has founded the Jasmin Vardimon Company, and has been commissioned to create for prominent institutions such as the Royal Opera House in London, the Glyndebourne Festival, Lyric Opera Chicago and Sadler’s Wells, where she has been an Associate Artist since 2006. Vardimon has developed advanced education programmes for dancers and actors, including JV2 and a Professional Diploma in collaboration with Royal Holloway. Her work and innovative approach have been researched and analyzed in two academic books published in England, which form part of the company’s educational resources.
